    I have been looking at the XD 40 SC. I like it b/c it comes with the 9 rnd and extended 12 rnd mag, but my roommate is partial to Glocks so I have looked at the Glock 27as well. Any other suggestions?

    Very happy with my Glock 27 with +1 mag extension for pinky.
    1,300 rounds or so with no problems. My fiancé shoots it and is fine with the recoil.

    Shoot them both then decide. They both fit the hand differently and one might point better for you than the other. I'm guessing you want a SC for concealment so you really want to get one you know you can shoot comfortably. Shoot the 9mm versions while your at it. .40 SC's are a bit to snappy for me personally.

    P99c = 9mm

    P99 = 9mm or .40

    Why not get a 10mm Glock 29? It's not as beastly to shoot as most people would have you think, and it's much more powerful than .40, but you could download it to be weaker if you want.

    the p99 AS trigger is sex, the QA trigger not so much. Although I've heard it's a good bit better on the more recent guns. Some of the internals didn't have the smoothest machining, so it had a gritty, unpleasant feeling.
