I was watching some video that was about some Americans that went to do muay Thai in Thailand. They were invited to train at Fairtex (Bangplee location?) in Thailand. In the video they showed the fighters kicking this big heavy bad that sat on the floor. It was pretty huge. It sat on the floor, so it didn't move. You could just kick, kick, kick, kick and it wouldn't move at all. I like that. Has anybody seen those before or know what I'm talking about? Anyone know where these things can be purchased?

prolly just a huge banana bag, the place i went had a 300 pound banana bag, but it was hung up. it still didn't move very much, but i suppose fairtex put theirs on the floor so it didn't stress whatever they mounted it too.

ok I googled banana bag and don't see anything similar. I want to say the bag in the video was about 2-3 ft in diameter. It didn't look like a regular heavy bag.

EDIT: I think I found it on their website. It's a beam that holds the roof up, but has a big pad wrapped around it.

So I guess if you want to kick a bag, and not have it move you just bolt it to the ceiling and also to the floor. Or just get a slave and have them hold a kicking shield for you.
