Im gonna go with no TKD at all, if you want to learn a form of kickboxing try M.T

If you are new to martial arts i would suggest either judo, boxing, wrestling or bjj

I would try other stuff but I have experience with TKD and I'm doing it for the art and the workout. Just want to refine my kicks. I'm sure M.T. would be better in a fight.

I am in Toronto and did TKD when i was young. I don't mean any disrespect but unless you have ties to the traditions etc, its simply too flashy to be taken seriously in terms of its combative worth.

My friend is a black belt 2nd den in TKD and even he has verbalized that TKD is a joke.

when i took tkd you could sign up for the black belt program... one up front fee gets you as much training you need till you got a black belt

pretty much a year later you walk out with a black belt....

sadly i didnt do the black belt program ... lol ... but it still would be cool to be a black belt in something... maybe

I'm a black belt in TKD, even taught it for awhile.

You can see how far it got me in my stand up game. :hs:
