    I love shooting my 17HMR I think its time to look for a target/varmint bolt action mag feed .223. Tikka T3 is a gun Im familar with any others my fellow OT'ers recomend?

    I'll throw a vote in for savage dont have a .223 one but I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if I was in market for 223 bolt gun.

    308 is a lil over kill for what I want it for. plus the added ammo costs cuz I like shooting my guns alot!

    I'd go 50 cal before 308.... ok thats a lie :big grin: I like those accuracy international rifles but they are spendy

    Just get the 700, don't waste your time with the 710.

    well I was thinking toward a budget deer rifle since it's only $318 at Academy and I don't really have a large supply of funding for guns.

    you could probably also go SKS for deer too, although it isnt a bolt

    I have a norinco sks (as a matter of fact, I'm getting a scope in tomorrow for it), but I was looking for a bolt action with a little more accuracy and range.
