hey ya, i was going to buy the olevia 26" lcd widescreen tv from hhgegg and circuit city on black friday for $500 after rebate, but then i found out that it's not a true widescreen...it's actually 15:9

my current tv is a phillips magnavox smart series 23". it's nothing special at all. it only has coax cable and 1 set of compsite inputs.
my a/v equiptment is a phillips progressive dvd player with component outputs.
i have a series 1 and a series 2 tivo (they have s-video outputs, but currently are only using composites)
i have a video switcher that will handle composite and s-video switching.

anyways, i'm looking for a 16:9 screen that will auto adjust for a 4:3 signal. i really want an LCD screen, but prices are a little high now, maybe a possibilty in a year. a crt version is at a decent price, but super heavy.
    i'm checking out this model:

i'm also checking out the viewsonic lcd at compusa, but i wish it didn't cost $650+
