Looking for recommendations. 8-900 price point, could maybe go higher. Looking for bang for buck more than anything else.

go for a 42" model. If you don't, you'll just stare at your 37" tv and wish you had done it right the first time.

price is one of the very few things I have heard is good on those. I have heard of problems with black levels and reliablitiy.

I have a vizio and for the money I can't give any reason not to get it. 2 hdmi,2 component, d-sub, 2 composite, good remote, not much glare on the screen. The only real complaint I have with it is that on an all black screen there is a slight amount of noticable light bleed through, but anything under a grand you are going to get that. I really feel it was a great buy, probally the best 700 I ever spent(I got it refurbed).

Look on slickdeals.net and find the best buy 10% off coupon

Then wait for the Westinghouse 42" 1080p or even the 47" 1080p to go on sale or right now there is an Insignia 42" 1080p for $996.99 - 10% = $897.29

I own the 42" westinghouse and I love it. Not sure of the insignia.
