Even though I had a promising visit to the Doctor in regards to my shoulder I am starting to question my ability to complete the Combat Control training course. I am looking at applying to crosstrain into Aerial Gunner as a backup plan. I have been researching the career field for a few days now and see that they are split between gunners on AC130's, and they are basically in charge of loading the weapon, and weapon maintenance. The others run door gunner on Helo's providing cover fire for PJ's and various other SpecOps units. Either or would kick ass in my opinion, but I would like to hear the opinions of people that are familiar with the career field.

That would be a kickass career field. I would assume the helo route would be the more physical of the two - and you would probably have a lot more emphasis on rescue/recovery and SERE.

and that female gunner = :yum:
