I am in the market for one and at this point I like a variety of different trucks for different reasons....anyone have opinions?

Silverado SS - I like the 6 liter AWD and sportier looks. The tradeoff is in reality its only an Ext cab truck with 4 doors so its smaller then the other contenders
    [IMG]
Nissan Titan Crew Cab - I like this because after really looking it over at the car show it seems to be the best value to dollar ratio in the pack. It definitely has the most interior room and the bed utility options make it very attractive. Tradeoff for me is that the Titan hasn't been around that long and I am concerned about longterm longevity

Ford F150 Supercrew- I had one of these in 2003 when my wifes car was hit and being fixed. I really enjoyed it and imagine from what I have seen its only better after being redone for 2004. I get x-plan pricing so i get a fairly decent discount. I can't think of any tradeoff's at the moment
ignore the fact that the pictured truck is ext cab rather then 4 door best pic i found

Anyhow I welcome comments on any of the above or other suggestions

I like the Titan, but that's just me. I don't really like 4-door trucks.

ford. the titan is absolutely fucking ugly in person. nice in pics, but holy shit it looks all disproportionate in real life. bulges and counter-intuitive lines all over.

that said, the ford and the nissan are equal in terms of truck value. if you are a modifying kind of person, the ford will have a larger aftermarket for lifts and such.

    and Ram=lose.

I'd probably be looking at the Titan first, as my family owns a '98 Pathfinder, which is a great vehicle, and we had great experiences with Nissan in the past (owned a Multi and a Maxima). When our Multi was discovered to be falling apart because someone had dropped it off a cliff then spot-welded the front end back on, Nissan bought it off us.

However, I know a guy who bought a crew cab GMC Sierra with the 6.0-liter diesel, and it is a great vehicle. Torque to burn, awesome gas milage and the back seat is roomier than the one in our Pathfinder.

oh, the ram looks good, but i'd like to see dodge fix their trans problems first. even through the newer rams they've still had the issues. perhaps the hemi 5spd auto has the fixes, but i'd wait it out for a few years first.

The tranny is supposed to be heavily revised, and it's got a 7 year, 70k powertrain warranty on it.

Personally, it wouldn't give me any worries.

I'd say the Titan but I'm biased towards Nissan. Have you considered the Chevrolet Avalanche?
Either way, some dealers are still desperate for sales so go to each and try to get the Overnight/24hour test drive, take whichever one you'd feel best driving for the next 3-7years.
