    so whos next for...

[Jones]? dude looked very impressive even tho he got dq'd.

and [Kimbo] is still at the bottom of the food chain...

for jones, id like to see him match up with:
    lil nog
    or
    rich franklin

for kimbo, im not sure if he'll be figuring out how to make 205 or if hell be fighting the smaller heavies.
    his next matches could be:
    james irvin
pat barry (however barry could put kimbo in a wheelchair with his legkicks)

Kimbo fight was okay when they were doing stuff. Otherwise it was as boring as fuck.

I liked the mcsweeney fight. Tittes got big.

I was really imperssed with McSweeny, and Titties too until he gassed.

I would love to see Kimbo vs Pat Berry, but that would be an insulting match to Berry. Maybe Kimbo and Antony Hardonk?

I think even though it came up a DQ I don't see any reason why Jon Jones shouldn't be given his next fight on the assumption that he won that fight. I think Lil Nog would be great for him.

I'd be up for Roy to fight the loser of Mir/Kongo.

theres a huge diff between circling and running away refusing to engage.

    insulting? i dont think so.
barry is still earning his stripes in the ufc, still getting known. barry is no where near the top of the food chain in payscale, had it not been for the bonuses he collected, he wouldve earned less that 20K for his victory.

size wise these guys are both on the small side of the hvywght class.
if barry comes in and outstrikes kimbo, he'll build his name and gains fans because of all the ratings that kimbo brings.
and if kimbo comes in with a good game plan with improved wrestling and GnP (which barry lacks) then we're seeing kimbo evolve right before our eyes. :hs:

If Kimbo fights Barry, his lower left leg is going to end up in the cheap seats

Not so huge when the circling turns into circling for over 3 minutes and refusing to engage.

I wasthinking the loser of Mir/Kongo fights Roy as well. No idea who kimbo should fight. Mcully mebby, if he is still in the UFC.

Jones should definately be treated like he won the fight. That could have been stopped earlier than those elbows. I would like to see him against someone like forest. That would be a good matchup, although a reach for his next fight. Anybody else like how hamil had to have people walk him out of the cage after his "win"

For schaub. I say put him against Barry.

If that faggot Mazzagatti had done his job and stopped the fight when Hamill was taking shot after shot wtihout defending himself, Jones wouldn't have gotten frustrated and thrown those elbows.

And that's a bullshit rule. First time I've ever seen it enforced.

hamill was actually defending himself, albeit poorly.
he was covering, moving his hips, and using that one good arm to grab onto an arm to tie up jones.

it was jones' fault that he lost his composure and threw an illegal strike. his fight was in the bag and hamill wouldnt have answered the bell.

Why? Like I said, it's a reach for his next fight but a fight or two down the road if he keeps impressing...

I think the styles will match up well and forest is a big 205, so should test jones.

beating forrest wont do much for his resume, a win against forrest proves nothing (thats guys record and performances make no sense). and losing to him would just fuck up his momentum.

cane would be even be a better fight for jones. cane is coming off a loss and needs to improve. cane is a game opponent and a loss to him isnt going to set jones back too far.

ive seen warning for it before, but usually it dosnt finish knocking the guy into next week. thats the only reason he wasnt given time to recover and the fight to continue, with the beating before that elbow, it was just the last straw to put him out :dunno:

I think a Nelson/Rothwell rematch would have been great if Rothwell hadn't been clowned by Velasquez.

i doubt throwing 1 kick every 3 minutes can be considered a game plan. regardless, you put kimbo and houston on a card to slug it out and see blood covering the cage.

for a kimbo fight? yes. he's a brawler.

if i want to watch a good technical fight i'd watch better fighters.
