Nah, I open carry in PA no problem. Just don't do it in Philly.

I had the manager of a gander mountain by the airport call the cops to see if I could legally open carry. I have a carry permit, but I didn't have a good holster with me. I was an employee of another Gander Mountain at the time, so we had quite a dialoge on it. He was like 'you can't open carry like that' -- Uh, yes I can. ' no you can't, I know the laws' -- obviously you don't.

So he called up and sure enough I was right. He didn't like that too much. :mamoru:

Cops came just because and I spoke with the officer, she asked to see my ID's, she called them in, and I came back clean  . Said 'ok, sorry about that, have a nice day'

Yup, i'm an hour or two south of you. But I open carry at times. Its a bit :noes:the first few times. Until you realize that 90% of people don't notice, don't care, or think you're a cop. the remaining 5% are too scared, and 3% know the laws, 2% may actually say something.

Just don't act like its an issue, and it won't be. If someone says something, tell them that its perfectly legal, and they should visit www.packing.org or www.opencarry.org to find their laws - educate them in a friendly manner.

  19. I was in a meeting yesterday with a couple of guys from the NSA that were carrying Glock 34s, I made fun of them for a good while, and we nick named one of the guys Josie Wales. There really seems to be no humor inside the NSA I have found out over the last few years.

    pics?

  21. Pics? Naa, can't really take pictures here it's against federal law, the guy we were making fun of carried his 34 backwards on his left hip, it just reminded us of Josie Wales so we gave him shit about being an NSA cowboy, he didn't find it funny but we all did.

true 1337 agents wear shoulder holsters

  23. I don't think I've seen a shoulder holster being worn in years. Actually scratch that I think I've seen a couple of the NIST dorks and the rest of the geek squad that are on p415 playing with those a while back.
