    then came the lens i have always wanted but never got the chance to purchase. Some wedding photog gave me a steal on it... 250 shipped and pp.

    keeps the diffusion nice and soft like a soft box but also keeps the light directed in a straight line, instead of all over

    ebay is my friend. and they are very good in build. They are better than my old amnova softboxes and those were awesome as well. I got these for on location with hot shoe strobes. Silver lining, very thick materials, excellent quality

    so are these amvona or some other seller? i have a 24x36 amvona, but wouldn't mind picking up a couple of cheap smaller softboxes too.

    i know it, the 85 1.8 with hood usually goes for 325 without PP or shipping.

    Did your soft boxes come with stands? Or do all soft boxes come with stands?
