woot, tokina crew!
what is that black thing sticking off it ?
I love mine too!
Lens scoop. See post #3 in this thread.
How is the focus speed on that thing?
I've been putting it into and out of my cart on Amazon for a while.
Im not a l33t photographer so having the top of the line items in my bag isn't a huge priority of mine
D70 Crew oh, and congrats on the lens
My photography is nothing special what-so-ever, but sometimes the low light speed on my 50mm 1.8 is a little tiresome. Not to mention the focusing at any time on my GF's Tamron 18-200
i haven't used my 12-24 in a solid 9+ months since i got my 17-35..i really need to sell that thing.
it does focus very quietly and fast enough for me. comparing it to the focusing on a 18-200 is just dumb though. that thing, as with any lens in that range, will take forever to focus.
I've since sold the D70 (and bought a D200)...but it lives in spirit!
400 bucks. comes with UV filter...lens is in PERFECT condition. comes with box, manual, everything you'd get when buying it brand new.
I almost hope it's a Canon mount so I'm not so tempted to buy it. . .I really don't need to spend the money right now, but I really, really want a 12-24
I am thinking the exact same thing. Except for the part about owning a nikon,
I'll make you one of my sound triggers for high speed photography as a trade?
it's a nikon mount, and sorry sir i don't really need a sound trigger (even though they are badass as HELL)
