May have had in ear ones, cant tell. Either way I would probably double up.
lol is that you? no ear plugs? fuck
Geez, what a landfill.
with a 50 bmg? I think that may be a good idea. shit when I was little and my dad would take me to the range I used to do it, its nice when the guy next to you is firing a cannon
i got down, took my sunglasses off, then the guy said i should put them back on because of the dust kickback, so i took my ears & hat off, put my glasses back on, put the hat back on, then fired the first shot. after the initial shock, some laughing and some "oh shits" i realized i forgot to put my muffs back on.
oh shit, you recover ok? I'm sure your ears must be ringing at least a little.
where is the scope?? I see rings, but no scope.
and shooting over water == no no
ears rang for about an hour or two but since then it's been perfectly fine. i think i got lucky.
over or into?
i think the guy said he sold the scope he had on it and the one he ordered was backordered
well into is a huge no-no for safety reasons. Shooting over water is illegal in at least oregon, as well.
technically, we were shooting over the range, it was just flooded.
Where do you see that, like what ORS #? I don't see the problem shooting over water as long as you have a backstop
I can only find this on shooting over water:
In the Bayou, they dont need no muffs
i looked briefly and couldn't find it. I'm fairly certain I read it at one point.
You may not notice it now, but you just lost some of your hearing.
Tell me how you do.
I can't hear 17.4 khz and higher.
I can hear the 18khz so I guess I'm doing okay.
Too much heavy metal in my younger years...and I'm getting old.
i turned off a tv and a light that was making some noise and i can hear em all.
didnt try each ear though
fuck i double up shooting my 9mm, that would be brutal with just ear plugs
no protection in the first pic, muffs in the second
I can just BARELY hear 16khz. Same with my wife.
I have a hard time hearing the 19k, but 18k is just fine.
I shot the AR 3 times without hearing protection yesterday though, so that probably didn't help.
