I was using poorboys Natty wax for a long time, and it seems to last pretty long, but Im more interesting in long term paint care and durability now over short term shine. Whats an affordable sealant that will last a long time?
I think I read that Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze lasts very long, but I have no clue

Zaino lasts awhile. You might also want to consider Collinite.

Werkstatt. Lasts at least as long as Zaino and it easier to use, especially the first time. Polish with Prime, then seal with Acrylic Jett or Acrylic Jett Trigger.

I'll second that. I get a killer gloss and long lasting protection from werkstatt Prime + Jett Trigger. Here's my proof:

    Collinite without a doubt.

845 can be found at most part stores (in the marine equipment section) and is easy to use. I get 5-6 months out of it and you can top it with any non-abrasive past wax.

Their 476 paste wax lasts just as long and is easy to use. The looks are as good as many others on the market but cannot touch it's durability. You' have to find it online.

They last long because they are not VOC compliant.

 busted. LOL Yeah, JRock you are right. My whoring is because Werkstatt does an amazing job and is rarely ever mentioned/considered compared to Zaino, Meguires, Optimum, etc. If I hadn't seen proof of the product personally, I wouldn't have considered it.

My younger son absolutely loves Werkstatt on his Corolla. Put some on in October (he lives in northern Kentucky) and said it was nice in March when he'd see his car was the only one beading in the parking lot at his college.

Interesting, I really did not care for Werkstatt all that much after going back to my staple Zaino. I will say that Prime Strong is a hell of a fucking product though. I threw the Klasse AIO out the door once I got my hands on that.

Longest lasting I have used is Zaino and Klasse SG but SG is a royal pain in the ass and doesnt give much of a look IMO so that got the boot as well. Colinite is a nice product that I use on clients who dont want to pay for the upsell of Z.

Interesting, that I did not know. How are they able to sell it if its not VOC, I thought all had to be now. I really dont care the small ammt of non VOC products a year are not impacting the enviornment anyways. But then again I think global warming is a myth and recycling hurts us more than benefits us but thats another topic...

Actually, the VOC regulations currently only apply to Califagornia.

So bizzed like Megs changed all their shit just for one state. Huh, must be a hell of a large segment of the business.

#16 isn't one of their big sellers anyway. Plus, what starts in Califagornia usually ends up moving east. :sad2:

    I didn't know that they redone #20.......just #21 and NXT(s).

For the record, I've had Collinite 476 on my wife's van for six months now. Still beads and cleans up so easy. Well worth it for those you don't want to rewax all the time.

Anything new? I just need an affordable sealant, dont care about shine or anything, I just want whatever will last the longest at a decent price :o
