Next on my list of MM photoshoots.
Again another youngin. 18 years old :eek3:
This one was a LOT more flexible on location and direction. She was very trusting, unlike the previous 18 year old I met from MM... Which I totally understand, but it was nice to go to a location I actually liked. :hsd:

Just used 3 Canon speedlights, one with an umbrella. BUT I'm DONE with the speedlights. After this shoot I sold all but 1 580 and ordered 2 AB1600s and 4 PocketWizards :naughty:

really like the colors, you've always been good at that.

the 2nd one gets me because of the plant blocking too much of the model IMO:dunno:.

I like 1 and 2, but yeah the plant is blocking too much of her, I'd rather see her in that V created by the plant's stems/leaves/whatever they are called. Also the light looks just a tad hard in 1.

I'm not digging the location, but that's just me.

I find that fence to be most distracting. The rest is good minus that plant.

    great pictures

I don't know if it's the model or the picture, but on the second one she looks like she has really big fingers, and a rounder face than on the others.

should have had the leaf in #2 moved to the left slightly. that way you could see the rack and it would be blocking her mid section :dunno: It would just make it more visually appealing

    mucho thanko
The plant seems to be the dividing line of love/hate.
Personally I'd rather have it a little to the left.

Oh ya, you can see the whole un-edited set here:http://clintdavis.net/marchesa/

    Thanks for the input.
I'll surely address the hard lighting with my new AlienBee/PW setup. This Speedlight/Cactus setup gave me so many headaches :hs:

I think these would be REALLY great if that damn plant was not in the way. My eyes go straight to it when they should be going straight to the amazing stems that model has. :(
