What a couple of douches. I know I'd never get rid of my dad's or grandfather's old guns. Understandable that the gun dealer wouldn't take it, just takes up room that more valuable stock could occupy. He should just wait until the next gun buy back.

If you're unwilling to sell it or give it away to a friend or neighbor is it that unthinkable to take it to the local machine shop and pay someone $10 to hit it with the plasma cutter? Why should there tax payer funded disposal of your unwanted items?

Those bolt-action .22s sure are notorious. I understand his concern.

I'll take it off his hands, for a small fee, as a responsible gun owner, for proper disposal*

Surely if he carries it around in his trunk his next traffic stop will be a barrel of laughs.

That was a terrible story. If it was true, it was terrible, and if someone made it up, it was still terrible.

Fuck talking to him, he's already a headcase. I want to ring up his father in the senior 'retirement center' and tell him what a fairy he raised.
