A&P lol, my D700 has 29562 shutter counts

    Damn son, mine is a month younger than yours and it only has 4-5k right now. D300 has almost 20k in a year!

    So, after you counted it that many times, how many actuation's did it have?

    I just checked today, it now has 60677 Soon I can get a new shutter!

    you don't check it on a canon unless you have a 1d series. if you take/send it to canon for service or cleaning, they can tell you but there's no way to tell yourself.

    You cant check on a MkIII and Im 90% sure theres a way to check on all Digic III cameras now. Somebody figured it out.

    I've tried and the only thing even remotely close to a 'count' is the file names. Unless you give it to canon...

    there was a way in photoshop to check shutter actuations.

    and I know my D300 I bought in Jan is approaching it's first 10k soon. I'm in the high 7 or low 8's and I know that certain things I'll take 1,000 in a night easy.
