lol, i have been banned from doing squats

    and any type of lunges by my uncle who is an orthopedic surgeon.

    good news is, i can do them eventually. i need to do a lot of rehab work to build strength in the knee so i don't completely fuck it up :wtc:

    when i first read the title, i thought you were banned from doing squats at the gym because of too much weight or too much noise [grunting].

    offtopic: the new planet fitness that replaced golds gym here has dumbbells that only go up to 25lb and the "fitness center" is for "familes". you will never see an oly weight or a heavy plate/db their

    i've been instructed to try yoga also for my knee. mine is all F'd up and suposidly yoga and palates (sp*) are VERY good for strengthening knees :dunno:

    QFMFT. Some of the yoga/pilates moves will have you crying for your momma :noes: especially planks. I used to think they were wussy stuff and only good for my boyfriend's mother..then she actually got me to do a workout with her and holy shit :bowdown:
