it's funny cos it's true

He's definitely opinionated and biassed towards Nikon but I agree with a lot of what he says (if you read between the lines he actually says what he thinks and has a decent reason for thinking as he does)... :noes:

some of the little quips in what he writes are hilarious too :)

A Canon sackrider probably wouldn't find him as entertaining as I do :p

guy seems like a complete dipshit/tool..but thats just from reading a few things, looking at his face, looking at his website layout and looking at his pictures. Not my style.

Maybe he makes a living by taking great photos and selling them rather than having a flashy website with heaps of photos on it?

It is pretty cutthroat, gets right to the point on how he feels. No flashy busllshit website, just straight text for the most part.

I'm a graphic designer, things like that just get to me :)

I can see the photos being great for travel magazines or something like that, things that I would never read or take seriously for their art...like I said, not my style.

he's the biggest nikon sackrider there is, to the point of absurdity, he post reviews of cameras without even touching them and makes some seriously idiotic points...now he does make good points every now and then and he sure knows how to reach the top of google queries

I like ken, because we all know fred miranda is a giant canon sackrider (bias review updates much?) and most people in general ride canon like a 20 dollar whore.

Anyone get that 18-200 badass little lens"?

    :werd:

fuck, that new 18-200mm lens looks very impressive. And it's affordable too. I'm very tempted to order one, except it's going to be difficult to get one in Australia any time soon - I think the waiting list is pretty long even in the US at the moment :noes:

I'd love a faster lens, a constant f/4 would be a good balance. I can't really justify any of the f/2.8 lenses for occasional hobby photography :hs:

I have one f2.8 lens, and it's sooo worth what I'm paying for it.

Work bought it for me and I work it off.

I like fred, because we all know ken rockwell is a giant nikon sackrider (bogus reviews much?) and most people in general ride canon like a 20 dollar whore because they make better products.

I like ansel, because he's dead and that keeps him from being bias toward either.
