I live it Tucson, AZ. I recently aquired my CCW (Im 21) and have been watching gun topics more closely lately. I am also into cars, and because Hondas are so common and I used to own one I am on the local honda forum.

    His post

    "
Well, I work at a convenience store in Tucson at First and River.

This happened last night (Sat night).

I got shot at and returned fire.

    Here's the video:
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=sf7QDr5vkP0

If anyone can identify the individuals (either one), or has any information about the 10 cars that pulled up at the Mobil station at around 1:25am, please let me know asap.

If the information can lead to an arrest I would be willing to pay a reward from my own pocket.

You shoot at me, you get shot at. Wannabe fucking gangstas."

And this place is for the most part a decent part of town. It is facing River Road which is not too shaby all the way down. It pretty much runs through the baller ass houses of the city. But if you follow "First Ave" a few blocks south it gets ghetto real fast.

Now personally I think these assholes should have been shot, But legally I dont see how this guy got away with drawing down on these guys over a few cases of beer. At the same time tho, Im sure his actions are exactly what is needed to deter crime around here.

If you watch his other vid he pulled a gun on some female shoplifters and says he got a hundred dollar bonus for it.

What are your opinions? Just curious. I think had he hit a innocent bystander while returning fire the media would have a feild day with this. But say the owner of the store condones this behavior, does that make it legal?

    More info from him

    "
to fill in some more... I did indeed call the cops.
they did take the weapons I had and used them as evidence in the processing. Said I could get them back after 72 hours. I brought a .38 Special and an AR-15 and a SKS with me tonight.
    I hope they come back.

I did not get cited for anything.
They found the shells from the gun that was used, and that was enough evidence for them that I was getting shot at. That and the video.

Once again, any help on identifying these guys (especially the beer runner) will be of great help.

Oh, and it's hard to identify the cars as there were 10 (count em... TEN) cars all together.

The only two I could remember was the one that shot at me (1995-ish Lexus LS400... grey or silver in color) and another car in the pack which was the last to leave (2004-ish Eclipse, white, lowered, chrome wheels, something dragging from the front bumper)

Thanks for any and all help folks."

Why give in? Just let them take anything they want? All the time?

I didn't hear any audio. What did he say or do that provoked them to shoot at him?

So, in Arizona if someone tries to steel beer you can draw a weapon?!

I don't think his mistake was drawing a weapon to not allow them to steal beer (albeit possibly outside the law itself) I think his mistake was standing outside waiting to be shot at. Especially standing at a glass window. If you're gonna pull a gun be prepared to shoot, if you're gonna shoot be prepared to be shot at...bottom line if you're gonna pull a gun your ass had better know where some cover is and find it, unless you like swiss cheese.

I agree, after he retrieved the beer from outside he should have locked the doors and called the police. Standing outside like he was doing is kind of asking for trouble.

It's interesting that 10 vehicles showed up to steal some beer. You'd think 10 cars full of Asians would be able to have enough cash for beer.

For sure. If I was that gas station worker I would also quit my job. Chances are he probably took out a window or hit their vehicle (I hope) and they are going to return later on.

I would never risk my life over a few cases of beer.

Well, they looked Asian based on the video camera footage.

And, how can 10 cars full of people not have enough cash for beer?

One of the gas station clerks buddies posted this

    "
Yeah this is the closest gas station to my house and Phempa's cool as shit so I'm up there every night. That night I left at midnight and came back at 1:50 with some bomb ass coffee for him but got denied by the po-po..

Sucks that AK jammed too, it felt pretty solid to me a couple nights before this. Surely 60+1 7.62x39 hollowtips in mom's lexus would've hurt a bit more than the couple that shot off [IMG]

And basically this area is pretty much on the edge of one of the nicest areas of tucson, houses/neighborhoods to rival anything. Problem is, a couple miles in the opposite direction it's a bit more ghetto-ish, and it's the end of the school year so these punk bitches were feeling a bit cocky. (Amphi grad was thurs) Kid actually had some lip with an AK up in his face. Next time he'll learn how to fire that fuckin' pea shooter before he gets his gangsta-grip on trying to jack some coronas from a gas station. How hard can it be to find a bit of $ and someone who's 21?

They'll be back, which sucks for them cause the AR + the SKS prolly won't have some AK problems heh [IMG]

Word on the street, Phempa's wicked with that .45 ruger too, so come give us a holler and be nice. The caps coming out of that ruger (i'm holding one right now, and one from the AK) are MEAN. tear yo' ass up [IMG]

But drop a line if you recognize these kids, try looking in 2005-2007 grad yearbooks from amphi I'd say, or ask alums. Phempa'll compensate proper for some help."
