I can't find a price new online, this one is used - that a decent price? It has a collapsible stock, looked to be in great condition.

:werd: you can pickup a Rem870 for cheap and then add all the accessories to make that for much less, and it'd all be new.

I should. I wonder if they negotiate at all on the used weapons.

It wasn't a used gun, but they had a new Remington 700 SPS in 270 at my local Gander. I picked it up to see how it felt and it had a whole lot of rust on it. It wasn't as if someone had forgot to wipe it down and it got a spot, by the barrel, along the receiver, by the drill holes for the scope. I found the guy working there and asked if he could cut me a deal and he said he could talk to the manager but the best he could possibly do would be 10%, if that. The gun was already around $600.

That's the day I decided I probably wouldn't ever buy a gun there.

    Damn Gander Mt.

They making a killing on the yuppie Escalade driving fuckers in this town.

I priced Glocks down there last month. $760 for a 21SF!

Only nice thing about them is all their rifles are saftey corded to the walls. You can pick them all up, fool around with them and find out what suits you.

That's odd. Wouldn't be too hard to cut the cord and run. Also wouldn't be too hard to chamber a round.... I thought thats why all the shops around here have em behind the counter. They'll let you handle anything, but you must be supervised.

Well it's TN, there's always a better shot just behind you.

Honestly though, 3-4 dozen shotguns all sitting on the walls, safety corded with trigger guards. The trigger guards are shitty quality though, you'd probally be able to pry them off at the expense of a trigger guar.... wait. I've said too much.

The local gun shop here has the used rack sitting out on the floors, everything from the M1 carbine to 12 ga to 22LR and its all sitting right next to the ammo without any tethering at all. So unless they pulled all the firing pins . . .
