Picked up a 37mm launcher for your AR? Chalk works for practice ammo

I thought the launcher was always a 40mm, or is there another model for different usages?

37mm is civilian one, dont even need to go through an FFL, 40mm requires tax stamp.

The M203 is a fuckin' blast. Lighting up shit with it is one HELL of a rush.

I used one teaspoon of FFFG, i'm not sure how far my payload will go...i'd like to see some data on this before i go pull the trigger

and yes I know that it depends on payload weight, but packed full of chalk, packed full of sand, its all a few oz diff

"Now that the shell it self is ready you can put your propellant in it. I use 1 tea spoon of FFFG pyrodex, you can buy this at most gun stores.
If your shell has a compression chamber be sure to make the powder fall into it."

Actually if CA does what everyone is hoping and makes the off-list receivers AWs without restricting AW features you can buy it. However as I understand it you can only transport it to and from a hunting area and even then you have to have to a hunting permit or license.

Edit - CA laws regarding large caliber weapons state that since its diameter is over 0.6 inches the only way it would be legal to possess is if you could justify it as being intended primarily for emergency or distress signaling. (PC 12301 and 12303) However since it is technically a flare gun it may still be legal.

Get a flat tire on the freeway, go to the trunk, grab the AR and pop off a flare or 3.

    bahahahahahahahahah!

Oh, and AWs must be transported locked up only to and from specific destinations, so no using a listed AR as a trunk gun :(
