Well, things here are going pretty fast. If you want to call it that. Working 120hrs a week on Guard Force... going out on missions inside the city, standing post and whatnot. We've lost some guys quicker than a lot of other battalions that have been here, but when we got here it was damn ramadan and we were n00bs. Taking more sniper fire to the legs than anything. Anyway, I'm staying safe now. Got back to my orig. section and work. Not getting treated like a piece of shit anymore. Yeahhhhhh. Is accord at boot camp yet? wtf.

eventuality they become what they say they are ... "casualties" ... i still hate the fact that I kept up a dailiy routine, and the few deaths towards the end of our deployment didnt phase me much ... fucking sucks to become accustomed to shit like that

Indeed it does, but then again....what can you do? The only Time it really really made me sad is when a truck came through the gate that had been hit with an IED.....and it wasnt covered like it was supposed to be......imagine that :(
