Took the kids to the Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland CA. Finally tested out the radiopoppers for the first time.....I think I'll stick to PW's.

Anyone want to buy a brand new radiopopper tx/rx set? :x:

I think at least 60% of your perceived awesomeness comes from the fact that your kids are absolutely adorable...

Just kidding, while they're really really cute, my wife and I love looking at your flickr stream. You capture moments while shooting your kids that I only seem to be able to capture during off the cuff snapshots. Awesome awesome work.

Thanks man. I really love the concept of the RP's, but I don't like the implementation. I'm the kind of person that doesn't mind ball-bungeeing PW's to my flashes, but attaching these things to the flash are kind of a pain, storage too. Gaffers tape FTL. Construction seems kinda iffy too, like on the TX unit, there is a transistor sticking out in the front which seems like it could get damaged rather easily. I love being able to sync at higher than 1/200th and shooting at wider apertures, but I think for me, it's just easier/faster to use manual and PW's.

    Thanks! :)

Thanks man, the location was awesome. Definitely going back there again. Cliffs on RP, great idea, poor implentation.

    Thanks.

 trudat. glad you and your enjoy the pics :bigthumb:

    Thanks bro.

    :h5:

I brought 2 lenses (20mm/50mm), RP's, 2 flashes, lightstand, and umbrella with me.

Thanks man! I know, time goes by so fast. I can't believe its been 5 years already :wtc:

Umm, probably close to 100 gigs.

    Thanks! :h5:

    :werd: It was awesome.

That place looks like a lot of fun. Nice shots too.

I'm in no hurry for my daughter to get bigger, but at the same time I can't wait till she can walk so I shoot pics:)

it gets harder before it gets easier. :o when they can first walk its tough to get them still long enough to set up a shot. my son is 16 months old and its tough to get him to sit still, but my daughter is 4 and i can bribe her with ice cream or something. :o
