I'm wanting to Flash my Xbox 360, and the Jungle Flasher tutorial says it requires Connectivity Kit v3 (optional probe) or Maximus Xtractor (with optional spear).

    What do you guys suggest?

I think all the lite-on's say "DG-16D2S", you have to know the firmware version before you can start. It'll either start with a 7 or an 8 (ex: 83850c)

Can you walk me through that? There's a ton of old threads. what's the best kit? How is it different then modding say a Hitachi drive?

    .

Now all you need is the connectivity kit, and the probe.

And, you pop the cd drive out of your console ( no more dragging the whole console over, plugging in power and video cables, etc ) hook it up, boot.

Install some io drivers, turn on the drive, start jungle flasher, probe the hole, get the key, itll auto load the firmware, then flash.

Seriously, most modders that use this method spend more time taking off the seal, and opening the 360 than the actual modding process.

plus, if your smart, youll mod a few of your buddies 360's and make your cash back on the money you spend on the chip and probe.
