We also just brought home a Tarus PT-111 9mm for my wife. Too small for me, but fits her like a glove.

He doesn't have a Dragunov, he has a "Dragunov" stock on his SKS. Not sure why its set up like that, if I had a russian, I'd get an original woodstock on it, take off the scope, put it away, and buy a chinese or a yugo SKS for shooting.

I do have another Russian, which does have the original wood stock w/bayonet which is stored away. I have several "older" rifles which I did not list, because I do not shoot them.

The ones I listed are my shooters.

I went out yesterday to fire the SKS listed above, and was putting together 3/4 inch shot groups from 200 yards using the scope. I love my SKS :)

I have found an un-issued Chinese Dragonov, which I am considering buying for addition to the "stored" weapons. They want $1700 for the complete package. I'm tempted.

IMO, it is the BEST new 1911 for your money.

Basically it is a recreation of the original Browning 1911-A1. And of all the bargain 1911s, I haven't seen one this cheap that isn't cheap to begin with. Probally the best starter 1911 you can buy to.

i broke down and tried one out at the range the other day. i hate to admit that i liked it. :o Little bulky in the slide for a 9mm though, here's hoping they do the right thing and bring out a .40/.357.

i'm going to have to add to my inventory one bushmaster A3, 16" heavy barrel, and 960 rounds of federal XM193 (had to shoot 2 boxes to make sure i didn't get a bad lot). soon i'll have another case of .223, probably georgia arms. and, depending on how tests go, i'll be getting some black hills 70+ gr. rounds. some guys on AR15.com are testing it to see what to get, from what i understand. they'll be loaded with hornady bullets. that will be the "save this stuff for a rainy day" ammo.

sp1's are one of the only prebans that will still be worth something when the ban sunsets. granted, not current preban prices, but still...
