new meaning to "Hard and wet"
another plus is we could finally get "full" body armor. head to toe. that would kick ass.
yeah no more rips in condoms...
sounds like it would be hot as fuck to wear in an Iraq-type environment. But hot is better than dead. Mostly.
Doesn't seem like it would work.
Sounds like a good concept. Whatever happened to that dragon skin, is that in use?
last i heard it's either being tested by the gov't or wasn't approved.
The government has conducted tests. The last I heard on the outcome of those tests was not too positive.
They should use captured terrorists for the tests. If they die, the armor fails. If they live, shoot their head.
we are a professional military, expected to conduct our jobs and perform our duties in a civilized and decent manner.
It seriously disgusts me when people talk like this, we are supposed to be better than our enemy.
I was joking. If I saw someone doing this, I would do everything I could to stop them.
I really wouldn't trust that to stop a 7.62x39mm or 7.62x51mm.
History channel doc. made for a real good case on the dragon skin. Looked promising.
As for a lil different kinda armor, I think the Corps needs to get some of those strykers.
I think the dragon skin was not so much a matter of performance as it is the money already spent on the current armor.
This is exactly how I feel about the entire "torture is okay for captured terrorists but not for military POWs" issue.
I bet it will look like this guy: Click me
He works at the 85th here on Keesler.
I think you two are the same age.
That's the way my dad and I were, too. He was a sexy beast from birth. Knocked up some nurse in the hospital before he even went home.
Was the nurse's name Charles?
