I'm having a problem w/ pvcreate, when i run the command:

    pvcreate -f /dev/hda

i receive the error message: "Can't open /dev/hda exclusively. Mounted filesystem?"

I zero'd out the drive, ran sfdisk, and tried the command again, but received the same error. Please help!
