I just created a banner in flash and want to link the whole thing so when someone clicks it, it will go to the site I specify.

Does anyone know how to do this?

    (I'm using flash cs3)

embedd the banner and make sure you're making the actual banner like a button so that when people click on it...

 People actually STILL use that ancient, depreciated, netscape invented embed tag?

Once you have created your swf which will use an AS to do exactly what you want you would probably want get with the times and use something like swfobject to insert the file into your site.

And also, here's a tutorial to help you accomplish what you need done:

    swfobject:

How would I like the whole banner, not just a singular item within the banner?

I think it has to be done within the publish settings using AS 3.0, however I'm not sure about the code.
