has any here ever bought a line out converter? it is an alternate way to hook up your head unit to your amp other than using RCA cables. i was wondering how dificult it is to install these and if anyone can help me out?

    You still need RCA cables.

Theyre pretty easy to install. Most you just hook the speaker leads to a high level source and connect an RCA cable from the LOC to the amp.

The Navone units seem to be very well made. But then again the PAC LOC I aquired 5 years ago from a friend is still very much alive and kicking in my mom's truck so I've had no reason to try a different one.

Another vote for the Navone LOC's. I've got one in my car and it works great.
