It is quite obvious i don't know much information about nutrition, so im looking for some advice. I already have a slimmer build since i fall into the ECTOMORPH
category. I have been gaining muscle and have been getting stronger, but my abs suck. I eat a tremendous amount of bread each day, well over a half of loaf plus other carbs as well. If i cut the majority of the bread out, what can i replace it with. I don't want to lose any weight or since, because i'm very thin 175 at 6'2". I just want to get more defined abs, while i continue to get bigger everywhere else. here is a pic for reference.

You need to up your dose of bread. Bread is basically legal steroids. I remember when I started with half a loaf a week now I'm up to 3 loafs a day and I'm fucking yoked.

Dude, why wont you try ground turkey? Its relatively cheap, its somewhat lean, and its definitely better than eating half a loaf of break every fucking day. Also, try to get most of our carbs from veggies and whole grain foods (I know your on a budget). Try costco, that shit will save you plenty of money.

up the loaf and bread = legal steroids ftw.

Broseph, you didnt read the nutrition stickies.
Dont worry about losing weight because if you are eating properly and gaining muscle, chances are you will lose some weight in the begining but look fuller because of the definition.

Frazz spelled it all out for you.

You don't need bread, you can use potatoes, rice, oatmeal, pasta ect. Your abs suck because you don't have any. Keep lifting hard and they will develope.

I think the people that reply are also looking for serious threads only.

But seriously dude, eat more. I used to be 6'4" @ 155lbs. I'm now at 190lbs. It took me a year and I probably didnt do it the most efficient way, but hell I got there. What you need to replace your idea of bread with protein and more calories if you wanna get bigger.

Do you even do ab work?

thanks alot for the replies guys. i will read the stickies for sure. I do ab work, but i feel i don't do it sufficiently enough. i tend to do it towards the end of my workout, when im tired and just feel like leaving. Also i know it doesn't look like it from the pictures since im so damn thin, but i eat to much shitty foods. To many homemade hamburgers, snacks, plenty of bagels, microwaved popcorn etc. I believe even though i don't seem to gain the weight, the fat goes right to my gut. From now on, im going to do it in between sets so i make sure im actually do them. As for the necklace, im catholic so it is a cross and my grandfathers ring he left me when he passed.
