I have never used it, but I've fixed *way* too many PCs that had it and became unusable because of all the shit that came through. I'm not sure if it was limewire itself or the programs people downloaded that fucked up the PC...but nearly every PC I've fixed lately has had limewire on it.

    cliffs: don't do it.

x3... Most problems probably come from what people download.

I've used Limewire before and never had any other PC issues.

Depends on what you are using it for.

BitTorrent is pointless for single MP3/small files, which is what I occasionally use Limewire for.

Plus, you always see the 'Why can't I get good speeds on BitTorrent?'threads all the time. I guess to most, just installing Limewire and using it is easier than configuring your PC/Router for BitTorrent.

I use limewire everynow and then when i want a song.

It can be handy, very handy.

    never got anything off it.

I think it's more user error if your computer fucks up.

Use bit torrent to get limewire pro for your songs. Then make sure you don't accidently download the 7**kb files that are all viruses :squint: If you want send me a pm and ill send you a clean copy of pro.
