How do I save/print a photo that I've cropped? The pic looks fine in LR. My neighbors had these printed and the top of the pic was cut off. I tried it with the same results.

are you sure that you exported them in the same ratio that they were printed?

    what size are you printing?

original aspect ratio is 4:3, if you're printing a different size it might crop for different aspect ratio.

That's probably the problem. The printer I used for a test print was the "quick print" at Target. It did not have the ability to adjust for aspect ratio. The one that the couple used was some online service. I assumed that the printer would automatically adjust for a cropped image and print the entire image.

I'll try printing on my new printer when I get it up and running later this week.

well, if you cropped them into a 8x10 and printed them as 4x6's the printer or software running the printer would have to re-crop the 8x10 into a 4x6.
