I like the idea of the picture, however it's kinda boring.
I'd like to see more of the sky and/or ocean. Don't center your subjects in the middle of the frame. Fix your horizon alignment. Looks a little off.
the thirds rule pwns you!
Love the colors and silhouette, but with the lighthouse in the middle of the frame, it makes me want to see what's just outside of it...
That shot taken horizontally with less walkway and more ocean would be badass!
Blair hates crooked horisons more than anyone in the whole world.
you havent been here long enough to hear me bitch.
also, i like the concept, but there isnt enough water, its falling over, and the headland between it and the water is a bit big - but there probably isnt anything you can do about that.
the reason there isnt much water in the foreground is because it was still frozen and not interesting
if you dont want people longing to see more water you should move closer and fill the frame with the lighthouse / bridge.
I think this shot would have been cooler if you would have shot it landscape and shown me the whole pier. So like, the whole right of the frame is the pier and the left is the lighthouse. The lighthouse isn't very tall, and so it looks like you've chopped off the other half of the frame. That's what I see, at least. Nice colour and shit, thoguh.
found a shot i like better while looking through pictures of that day
its a little small
i like it, but think even here a horizontal should would have better captured the scene. just m .02
That house doesn't look very light
In fact, it's the darkest thing in the picture
needs more HDR
if it wasn't the darkest thing in the picture, then i would have lost all detail in the highlights! yay boring
