lifting with no sleep

    did not sleep a minute last night and was looking forward to lifting today, will be up around 24 hours when i hit the gym... what is recommended? i really dont want to miss a day, and i planned on maxing today too :wtc: insomnia ftmfl

    should i just do lighter weight? :hs:

    Sleep is very improtant for muscle growth. Go to bed.

    Try "Simply Sleep", they work well and are a cheap non-addictivie OTC.

    no, ive just always had insomnia and horrible sleeping patterns

    I would say just go to the damn gym :dunno: pop some caffeine, lift, be prepared to not lift as heavy, then go home and eat and sleep.

    In my opinion an awesome well rested workout is worth 5 crappy tired shitty feeling workouts.

    i didnt sleep at all either. there was a thread for all the people that didnt sleep:wtc:alot of us last night

    If you have real insomnia go to the doctor and get Ambien or Lunesta.
