What exactly should be my goals? I know I want to cut alot of fat, but I want to hit the weights hard. I'm doing a Bill Starr routine right now (about 2 months now) because I'm in serious need for the strength. Should I just keep my routine the same/similar to that routine and cut with diet? Or up the reps/intensity/cardio or change my routine entirely?

I'm lifting 2-3 days a week and doing MMA 2-3 days a week right now. I'm at 235-ish 6'1" right now and want to get down to a solid 225.

don't up the reps. why does everyone always want to do more reps when they cut? if anything you generally want to lower the reps and try to keep the weight as heavy as possible, but since you are already doing 5x5 i'd just keep it the same.

Same reps but you can do less sets if you want. The higher rep schemes are related to lactic acid I think, I haven't looked that much into that though.

Bulk or cut the weights are always heavy for me...

    Only difference is the diet.

i assume you mean glycogen depletion, coupled with a carb depleted diet to be followed by a carb load - but yeah, that's a pretty specific goal that is obviously not what the average dieter has in mind.
