We've all heard people say that weighting lifting in your teens stunts your growth. I keep hearing this over and over. My physician mentioned that it may damage your growth plates, but couldn't say much more. A personal trainer told me that lifting too much while doing shoulder or back exercises could stunt your growth. A ton of websites with so called "experts" say that it doesn't. What's your guy's take? Anyone know of any authoritative studies on the subject?
