How often should I be increasing the amount of weight in a routine? Is it one of those "when you feel you can lift more" type of things or should I be doing it like every three weeks or something. How do you guys increase your weight load?

I just always shoot for the highest amount of weight I can. I usually slap 10 more pounds on then I did last time I lifted.

get someone to spot ya, and throw some more weight on there. If you can't do it, then the spotter is there to help.

i just play it by ear now.... im on a 5x5 routine and if i can pump out like 8 reps, ill bump it up 5 or 10 pounds. itd probably help to keep a log of your lifts, so you can track how much you did the last time, and compare and what not
