    ...suck.

It's the only time I have to lift bc of my 12 hour days, deadlifts plateau'ed after the 2nd week of lifting in the mornings because I'm usually half asleep when I'm at the gym. It's the only real exercise that has been affected. Today, I had a day off and did my dl workout later in the afternoon, pulled +20lbs easy.

I hate my work schedule :wtc:

I lift four times a week, 6:30-7:30am, and I still work from 8:30am-10pm. Lunch and dinner are catered, so that's a 13+hr day of solid work. I actually hit a PR yesterday morning on Incline BB. Thank goodness it all ends in two weeks.

I've set myself up for early lifting, I can't do it any other time, even during the regular 10 hour days.

I am fine with all my other lifts. Deadlifts and squats fucking suck in the mornings though.

my schedule varies each month and this month im stuck lifting in the mornings. I hate it. I feel much better lifting at the end of my day rather than at the beginning. I prefer to have a solid days nutrition in me before I hit the gym.

I don't like working out in the mornings, either.

I still do it, though. I don't mind weights as much, but the treadmill can be brutal when you first wake up.

morning workouts suck IMO if you are trying to put on mass. I have a hard time eating a lot in the mornings and don't feel like I'm well nourished when I do lift in the a.m. Besides I'd never workout legs in the morning. I guess it's better than not going at all though :o
