Ok obviously these dont help improve your grip strength...but what if your concentrating on your shoulders or back...

if you cant hold onto the bar without straps/hooks you lack the dedication and motivation required to be a master of the hand

if you dont have the grip strength to hold 550+ lb you're really weak.

I use a similar one on my left hand when doing pulling movements because I broke my finger in three places. Is your grip that weak that you need hooks?

  16. Those don't actually work as well as straps. Plus they can dig deeply into your wrists.

I've looked at those a few times as well and they look interesting.

Olympic bars are just to big for my hands, they are teensy :hs:. I was doing 225 on Deads and although I could lift the weight around my 5-6 rep it would slip :wtc:.

wtf how can a 1" bar be too big for your hands? unless your hand is under 6" from tip of the middle finger to the first crease in the wrist there is no reason it should be too big.
