    Hey guys,

I've looked through a number of threads in the archives, and I have a question. I would like to begin a weight lifting routine, however, I do not want to practice improper form. How did you guys pick it up at first? Did you have to pay for lessons? Asked a friend? Looked at a picture on a poster/in a book?

    Thank you. :)

i just asked here for a routine and then everyone told me a bunch of lifts I didnt know. then I went to exrx.net click weight training, exercise body map, and clicked around. there are little .gifs for each lift and small explanations.

basically start small, exhale during execution, and go slow. no fast movements.

    Thanks man.

I have found a lot of good routines on here, but I need to find out how to actually perform the lifts properly.
