Got the RE 3.5" Superflex kit put on my XJ yesterday. Added on the RE track bar and RE twin tube shocks. The jeep looks alot more agressive than it did at stock height, really needs an alignment at this point, and then the fun can begin!

I'd also like to add that I had no problems with breaking bolts so :fawk:, So-cal rust free cars FTW!

Are those retreads from hightech retreads?

    What size are they?

I was thinking about getting a lift for my zj, the 3.5" Super Ride from RE. Are you pretty happy with that lift?

Edit, looks like 31x10.5's. Which model if from hightech?

nah, I'm running 31's with 3" of lift ... hard locked front and rear, the XJ will go over most stuff that short wheel base jeeps with bigger lift and tires can't clear

At least you've got an 8.25 instead of the Dana35 axle 'o crap ;)

if i make a comment on someone needing bigger tires, i usually parallel that statement with a comment about taking off a lift and using a sawzall. Seeing as you just got this lift on, and are obviously overjoyed with it, i will keep my mouth shut and just say "good job. looks good." in an attempt to try to not derail your emotions too badly and vanquish the cloud on which you are floating.

    so, verily, i must add:

    Good job. Looks good

31x10.5x15 Mud Terrains. I'm very happy with the lift, and with the tires, however they have not yet been trail tested.

Rusty's has horrible customer service, get RE through one of the NAXJA vendors and its reasonably priced.

Waggy axles are alot of work, gotta weld on the spring perches.

What gears are in it? Is it for the front or rear? I am located in Kennesaw GA. That is kinda far away.

One of my friends gets a business discount through Rusty's so thats why i was thinking about using them. I know RE is great from everything i have heard about them. I talked to them when they were out here in GA for the truckfest.

any thoughts about getting the unibody stiffeners? I know you rock monkeys like to flex things...can't imagine what that does to the unibody...

wreaks havoc on the unibody. which is one reason one of the first extensive mods for a unibody is a full cage tied into the structure in as many places as possible. really stiffens the chassis.

Unibody flex is what makes XJ's so damn flexy, why would I want to change that?
