I think that this fight is going to end up being the biggest fight of the year. I was watching the preview for it on ufc.com and I got pretty excited. I mean this is the fight that alot of us have been talking about for a long time and never really thought we were ever going to see it happen. Its finally here on saturday I get to see my two favorite strikers go head to head in the cage. I wish there was a fast fwd button or some shit because I cant wait for this one.

I can forgive Dana White for not sighning fedor if this freaking fight turns out to be a war. I CANT WAIT!!!!

yeah, the only reason i am still uber excited is because its kind of like clash of the styles. they play into eachother's styles so bad and so well that someone kind of has to fall victim to a brutal KO.

that, and this is kind of like the last hope for all of the pride fans who are looking like idiots in front of their non-mma-knowledgable friends. :noes:

so you forgive dana for putting on a fight that could've been a loooong time ago, but instead puts it together well after both of the fighters' primes?

I am still convinced that A. Silva VS D. Henderson will be a bigger fight than this.

I think its a lose lose for both guys, if chuck knocks out wandy people will call wandy a can and say that Chuck knocked out a guy way past his prime and can't fight anymore. Same thing will happen to Wandy if he gets Chuck.

Super bad timing for this fight.

Naw, most people dont even know who Wandy is. I think if Chuck knocks out Wandy people will just say "CHUCKS BACK!", and Wandy can still make a name for himself in the US by Murdering the first couple cans they put him against. If it's the other way around I think people really will stop wanting to watch Chuck, 3 big losses in a row is really bad for him. Most people don't know Wandy got knocked out in his last 2 fights, and one was against one of the best HWs in the world at the time anyways.

The fight will be over in the first round, as fast as the Lidell/Jackson fight probably. I'm still rooting for Wandy

:werd: some people forgot he moved up a weight class to fight crocop and that he also lost to rampage (who had been training, gpt away from his old camp who only was able to bring amatures in to spar with him ect ect and is now the champ :o ) not like he lost easy fights at all

chuck on the other hand lost to keith jardine, a somewhat gatekeeper for that weightclass :o

Chuck is going to get steamrolled. I see Wandy going in there to fight to win while Chuck will fight not to lose.

This is the biggest fight, because even though they have lost their last two fights, it is the face of Pride vs the face of the UFC

Wandy lost to Henderson, not Rampage.

Two big names going against each other, who gives a shit about their last two fights? Two losses does not make one past their prime. I seem to remember Chuck beating Randy twice in a row...

This will be a quick and enjoyable fight.
