QWERTY keyboard man. Plus all the other whistles and bells - CMOS camera that is supposedly really good and 128 built in memory. Its looking like the real deal if you are a text messaging freak and don't want to deal with a smart phone OS. Can't wait to check out how nice that internal screen really is.

The 9800 is awesome. The twin speakers are sweet, and the screen, well, its the same as the 8100's, which is sweet.

I have this phone, it works well. The camera is overrated tho, dont get me wrong its the best cameraphone Ive seen or used.. but its still not great quality.
One complaint I have is that it should have a door that closes over the camera lense, it collects dust and fingerprints very easily.

I don't see the a800 on the verizon site... how well does the a970 voice to text work? From experience I have found those to not be quite up to par yet. That's why the VX9800 qwerty is really handy plus it likely has more applications for the browser and e-mail and text messaging, etc... Does V2T work for all those?

The voice to text works pretty well. There are a few tricky works it doesnt get but it has grammar check of somekind built it. It also wont do swear words, but I guess if you program them in your contact list with your voice, it will then type them.

not for sure if the v2t works for emails and such as I dotn use that..

Well I go to places that have a lot of noise, so the vtc is not very useful in those situations.. Just wish the price would come under 300 bucks quicker.. I had the A630 when I was with tmobile and that thing was great... Sucks that its not on the verizon network.
