I just got an LG VX6000 from my friend, because I have an eBay data cable. I just installed BitPim, and I downloaded some FutureDial drivers. Do anyone know where I put the drivers at? Also, I don't know if it is because I don't know where to put the drivers folder, but my BitPim doesn't get the data and I receive a message saying:

    An unexpected exception has occurred.
Please see the help for details on what to do.

I am new to data cables. So, do anyone know what I do with the FutureDial drivers? And then how I use BitPim?

You need to download and install the drivers.

What kind of cable is it? You should be able to go into device manager and install/update the drivers.

It is an eBay cable. I downloaded drivers, but I get a folder with files but no setup. So I'm not too sure on how to install it.

When you plug in the cable, it should list it as a device in device manager. If it doesn't pop up when the cable is plugged in, check under com ports in device manager. If you see it there, right click, go to properties, and update driver. Select the folder with the files you downloaded.
