I've had this dvd burner for almost 2 weeks now. Been working great recently, and just started to have troubles tonight. I rented Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Troy and it doesn't load up at all. Tried other DVD's and it loaded up fine on to PowerDVD. I went into Windows Explorer and it doesn't show anything there either.

Any ideas? The model # is GSA-4163B-BK.

    Thanks.

does the DVD work in another dvd player? if so, maybe something is wrong with your dvd burner. i've had no problems with my LG burner for the 4 months i've had it though.

The DVD movies work fine in on the home DVD players, which is why I find it odd. Maybe there's something i need to update on the burner? :dunno:

I don't know about Troy, but Resident Evil is proctected by some new copy protection scheme. Perhaps that's why you're having difficulty playing it on a computer.

You could try flashing it with newer firmware if you don't have the latest version. Search good for "LG DVD firmware"
