My friend fit 6.5" Diamond Components in the front and a set of 5.5" Diamond components both with tweeters in his sc300.

It seems like 4" in the front, 5.5" in the back... I couldn't fit 6.5's and it didn't look like 6's would fit either. I'm going to just eventually make a custom rear panel for my SC300 and go with 6x9's in the back and something else up front.

You can find the aftermarket radio harness at BestBuy (I had to check several places before finding it) but I don't believe there is a mounting kit made for our cars... so you're going to have to do something custom if you want it to look decent. There's nothing you can do about the stock volume knob unless you want to remove it and fiberglass over the hole, then paint the panel.

how the hell did he fit 6.5 in the front? it lookslike nothing past 5.25" at the most could fit in there and that link above said 4" in the front?

anyone have any pics of how an aftermarket deck looks mounted?
