[FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica]Been looking at new cars for the last week, and the is350 is looking more and more appealing. Anyone have one? what do you think of it...The car is right in my price range and I like it.

The New IS-F looks pretty damn sick too, but a little more than i want to spend on a daily...

    TIA!

My brother has one. I drive it and its probably one of the best built cars i've ever driven.

Riden in a 250, gotta say the interior is simply amazing.. The IS350 is a pretty quick car out of the box too.. Low 13's are pretty common.

I ended up buying a 250 AWD because I live in New England. But when I test drove the 350... it was really hard to walk away from it.

Have you sat in one yet? You should. I found it to be WAY too small.

I guess I could get a 350 and keep my beater jeep, I wouldn't want to drive it in the shit anyway.

My wife has a 2006 IS 350 and I really like it. It is the car we take on trips. Lots of power for passing cars and the interior is great. Mark Levinson stereo is fantastic.

I am going to test drive one on Wednesday for sure. Too busy to do it before then. I'm five ten and drive a 97 civic as a daily right now, so it can't be any smaller lol. And I'll have my truck as well in case i wanna ride captain chairs...

The more and more I look at it, the more and more I think i should treat myself for my Birthday and buy one...

I've had the 350 since the USA launch back in '05. No problems whatsoever, quick enough for a daily driver, very solid car :bigthumb:

Dude the tranny sucks. It's slow as hell. That's my only gripe with the car but it's a pretty big gripe, enough to keep me away from it. I got bored after awhile of driving it. My good buddy has one so I've driven it pretty often. It's a nice car though, just not for me.

Trust me, I wasn't expecting to be a race car, but the transmission really was slow. There were times I flicked the paddle twice because I thought it didn't register the first time around, and it ended up up shifting 2 gears. I was expecting it to be a little less "lexus-y" but I guess that's sort of dumb. It's a nice car like I said though, no doubt about that. I'm just giving a fair warning if he really wants to have some fun here & there he might be disappointed after awhile. But he very well may not and the car will be everything and more for him.

I've noticed the shifts are a noticibly quicker when using the gear changer on the center console versus the paddels, but yea its no SMG. Theres always the IS-F
