My brother in law has asked me to find him a project/cruiser for around 12k.

He'd prefer a 62-64 cadillac or a cruiser like that, possibly convertible.

    His budgets a little low....

This is what I've found so far :mamoru:

    bagged 63 caddy, $9k

1963 Cadillac Coupe De Ville. This car has air bag suspension with ten switches. Shaved door handles, trim, and emblems. The lights on the fins have been frenched in. Dual 30 inch Smithy's Glass Packs. Interior needs to be redone but I have blankets over the seats now. Gloss white hard top and flat suede blue body. Odometer is at 120,000. Just got the entire brake system replaced, that alone was $1475.00. I never thought I would sell this car in a million years but my dog was hit by a car last night and she needs a very expensive surgery. This is the best running, most reliable car I have ever owned.

i'd grab the 62 impala and work on that, that clean for only 8k is a steal. there are many bagged devilles running around, not too many clean impalas on the road.

Ah. I guess you'd want it to be faster...to...uhm... be able to bounce up and down I guess? I can hardly believe the car holds together after those bounce sessions...i guess you need to bounce-and-break-proof the car for that kind of noise.

precisely. for 8k it would be a steal. Perfect paint, tons of chrome, just yank the hydro setup, sell it all, sell the wheels, install bags and choose your own wheels. 10-12k car and it'd be badass

Hes a cadillac guy, but hes got an impala budget. I know he knows he needs to raise his budget to 20k but he hasn't told me yet :hs:

Classic Car insurance is $400 per YEAR for a car insured with an agreed value of 60k

Just have to drive it limited mileage that they never check
