I simply lost the motivation to work out this past year, school kept me so fucking busy and I work full-time in the process. Last year (winter semester) I was using creatine while doing all the other proper stuff, cardio, good diet, etc. I felt I had a lot more endurance in my workouts. I could push out a few more reps than sans creatine. I don't care for the bulk/water weight bullshit that's gonna be thrown out there, I simply liked it for that extra staying power.

FWIW, last January I was about 165 and couldn't bench 95 lbs. By the end of April I was 150 and could bench 180. Now I'm back up to around 175-180 and I have no clue what I can bench. I really let myself go. :hs:

I am finally getting back into working out and I'm thinking about starting it up again since I did have previous success with it. If I do, would you fellas recommend holding out until my body is used to the abuse of working out or just dive right back into taking it?

Take the shit out of it. Just started back on it myself and it feels like it should be illegal. I had forgotten how great it was.

P.s. - My mom thought it gave me cancer one time. Another story for another time......

I'm not responding to PureCEE like I've responded to creatine in the past. I know its there, but its not the same.

Thinking of trying mono for fun. Never tried it before.

I'm no expert workout pro, not sure if there's other types of creatine, but I was taking creatine mono from GNC.

I think macro posted a study not too long ago that said CEE actually degrades more readily in the stomach than monohydrate (which is bad).

I surprised myself in the gym today. I went in to check out the new setup between classes since our school redid the entire thing over summer and my buddy said at least try and see what I can do. No warm up/stretching/anything, I put up 135 on the flat bench 5 times without much effort. I figured I'd be having a hernia trying to do 95 so that makes me feel a little better.

Today was just cardio. I've got another friend who will be my workout buddy on Mondays for weights.

Diet is another concern. Man I love me a beer, and I just picked up a 24-case of Spotted Cow while in WI this past weekend. Guess I'll have to make that shit last.

you miss the bloat... some people do (usually its thing people are trying to avoid).

Mono can put more water weight on you (this varies sometimes this just means a big bloated stomach- but for responders with reasonable uptake- its a fuller, albeit water laden, feeling)

I never noticed any huge water weight issue, bloated stomach, etc. Like I said, I started off a little chunky no muscle kid at 165 and had a decent build at 150 when I was done. Gained muscle, lost weight. If there was any water weight gain it was almost negligible.

is Creatine something I should be taking every day, even on my off days? Or just on days that I'm going to the gym?
